What you need to know about the role
You play an important role in the growth of the charging solutions for electric vehicles and energy management solutions that make the global energy transition possible. Our customers face an urgent need that directly impacts their business-critical processes, and the market we operate in demands nothing less than excellence.
You understand this and are able to advise clients with confidence and strong (technical) insight, giving them the assurance that we offer exactly what they need. This means you don’t just send out a quote and walk away, you stay involved throughout the entire process, continuously adjusting and advising, and working closely with the Technical Delivery Manager (OPS) to ensure that what we’ve promised is delivered effectively.
Since we operate under a Hybrid Go-To-Market strategy, you’ll be involved in both direct and indirect sales. Indirect sales means you’ll onboard and enable sales partners, empowering them to deliver the same level of quality and customer experience you strive for yourself.
What does this mean for your role?
You are responsible for developing strategic plans that define our commercial activities and help us achieve our ambitious growth targets. You initiate and implement your own ideas and actions, with the goal to not only reach your targets, but exceed them. The focus is on sustainable and customer-focused attraction of high-quality partners and clients to sell our products and services, while also supporting existing partners and clients in their sales efforts.
You know how to spot trends and opportunities in the market, generate leads, and create win-win situations that drive growth and deliver value in a competitive and expanding market. We appreciate boldness and creativity in how you go about this.
You're our ambassador in the field and are constantly on the move to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships. You actively seek out new opportunities with both existing and potential clients, reaching out proactively by phone, online, and through on-site visits. Let’s just say: the less you're in the office and the more you're with the client, the better.
It might not be the most exciting part, but especially in the phase we’re in now, operational hygiene is crucial. That’s why you ensure accurate and complete administration of customer and pricing agreements, as well as other client information so everyone in the organization always has access to the most up-to-date and reliable customer data.
Relationship management is key and you serve as the first point of contact for our customers and partners by phone and email, and make sure they’re always satisfied.
What do you bring?
You have an HBO+ level of thinking and working, with 7+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally involving software solutions preferably within the energy or EV sector.
You’re able to quickly understand the needs of (potential) clients and translate these into concrete, tailored proposals. You’re solution-oriented, forward-thinking, and creative within the possibilities of our software. Delivering on sustainable promises is key.
We’re a fast-growing company, which means not all processes are set in stone and change is constant. You’re not fazed by this. You enjoy taking initiative, bringing structure to chaos, and connecting the dots so your leads follow the right path and receive the best possible support.
You live and breathe sustainable energy; your car is probably charging as we speak, and your rooftop is lined with solar panels. Okay, maybe we’re exaggerating, but we do prefer that you have experience in the sustainable energy or EV sector, or at the very least a strong affinity with it.
At Maxem, excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written is essential, as most of our customers are Dutch. At the same time, solid English skills are important, as this is our internal company language and we have cross-border ambitions. If you speak additional languages, that’s a big plus!
What do we have to offer?
A salary between €5.500 – €7.000 gross per month, based on relevant experience, plus a variable component
