Maxem is growing fast, and that’s why we’re looking for a Strategic Growth Market who wants to make an impact in a fast paced, international environment. You play a key role in setting up Maxem’s growth strategy, and are responsible for defining, building and scaling up growth strategies focused on client acquisition and turnover.

You lay the foundation (website, dashboards, measurability), increase our visibility through campaigns, offline events, captivating content and ensure that we reach the right audience at the right time, with the right message. 


What does this mean for your role? 

Growth strategy & planning - Develop the roadmap for growth, determine with channels (paid, organic, e-mail, CRM, affiliate, etc.) we implement and how this combination of channels ensures maximum ROI and scalability. 

Performance marketing & experimentation - set up effective campaigns via paid media for our target audience and ensure systematic A/B testing, optimise conversion (CRO), landing pages and customer journeys 

Lifecycle & retention - Work on effective funnels and test these, develop onboarding flows, customer nurturing, retention campaigns and ensure that existing customers continue to see the worth in the platform

Data & Analytics - Monitor KPI’s such as CAC, LTV, ROAS and churn, analyse data to identify bottlenecks and use these insights to form future strategies. 

Cross functional team work - Work together with Sales, Product Management and operations to guarantee consistent messaging, branding and user experience. 

Content and creation - Develop a content strategy and ensure that content, creatives, copy, and visuals are created and published at the right moments.

Discover innovation and growth channels - Try new channels, technologies, and tools. Dare to experiment and be willing to take thoughtful, evidence based risks.

What do you bring to the table?

  • 4-8 years of experience in growth/performance/digital marketing, preferably in SaaS, tech, e-commerce, or a similar environment 

  • Strategic and hands-on mindset: you think strategically but also act hands-on; you can engage and convince stakeholders

  • Technical/tooling experience: experience with tools for paid media, SEO, CRO, marketing automation/CRM tools, analytics (such as google analytics, tag manager)

  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English; able to present ideas clearly - internally and externally 

  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with numbers, dashboards, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel, and Power BI 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once

  • Self-starter, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-growing, innovative scale-up environment

  • Problem solving mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach

  • Familiarity with the EV charging or energy industry is a plus 

  • Driven to collaborate on a zero-mission future
